For many years now, we have thought about expanding our offering into the retail trade - to see if our events based skill sets could work in a pub/restaurant environment. In 2006, we took the plunge and signed the lease on a derelict pub in Lane End, Buckinghamshire. After a very swift turn-around we opened the Grouse and Ale.

Our original belief was that we understood how to create an atmosphere of fun, where people would congregate to relax and enjoy excellent food, drink and service. And we were right!

Just six months after opening, the Grouse and Ale won Scottish and Newcastle’s award for “Best Pub”, and was a finalist for “Best Pub Food”. Whilst “green field” catering remains at the heart of our organisation, look out for more outlets in the future.
